Why? Practice celebrating the "boring" stuff and take less for granted.

If you have a daily to-do, calendar, chores list, etc. then you're documenting your daily life. Which is a perfect place to practice gratitude. For example, let's say you start each day by making breakfast, doing the dishes, and getting dressed for work. You're eating from trees you did not plant, picked by people who do not know your name, on dishes you did not make, etc. etc. Even the most boring of tasks is full of opportunities to celebrate and be grateful.

When? Two options.

Wednesday the 19th from 9-10am in the morning.
OR
Thursday the 20th from 6-7pm at night.

Both events have the same content, so you only need to attend one or the other. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in. We will begin right at 9am or 6pm with a warm-up exercise.

Where? TBD.

I am finding us a location. If you have space and would like to help host this event please email hamraduncan@gmail.com.

Who? 16 list makers.

Get to know 15 of your to-do-list loving neighbors. This gathering will bounce back and forth between silent journaling and group conversation so you'll have a chance to connect with multiple people. Plus, I'll hang around after the event for "porch time" if you want to keep the conversation going.

What? Journal, talk, journal.

Draft Agenda:

  1. 5min - Introduction + examples.
  2. 10min - Big group conversation.
  3. 15min - Solo practice.
  4. 15min - Partner conversations.
  5. 5min - Closing.
